s2: oh i took about a hundred pictures of myself.
s1: oh really? was that on ur 2do list?
s2: not really. i was procrastinating ...
s1: ok, what was on ur 2do list?
s2: update resume, write a cover letter, gather required documents
s1: hum. sounds kinda important.
s2: yeah. it's a job opportunity for which i think i'd be perfect.
s1: then why are you procrastinating?
s2: i don't know. i don't do "change*" well.
s1: um. ok. well then u better do something cool w/ those pix.

take a closer look
*i've never met a change that wasn't for the better in the long run so my passive resistance to it is utterly baseless ... and futile.

Yeah, you better! ;)
So your friend thinks you look 1,000 times better without glasses? This photo may be proof of that...well, not 1000 times...possibly a few hundred. :p All the better for seeing your blue eyes anyway.
going from 1,000 times better to just a couple hundred time better ... i guess that's a compliment. :-) lol.
my long nose looks even longer without glasses ~ i think that's because i'm so used to seeing my face with glasses.
with all the smog and smoking around here (one of my students smokes many cigarettes during our 1 hour class - ugh), in addition to my dry eyes, i'd be blinking constantly with contacts just to keep them floating over my eyes; it'd be a real pain in the butt. i'd almost rather walk around without any corrective lenses.
PS: i already did something cool - i found an edamame bean picture that looks like my wonky index finger and slapped it on there for a side-by-side comparison. (no one thought that was funny except me; i had to go fishing for comments from my sister and mom) *crickets*
