blown off

so the brazilian blew me off last night. huh .... strange.

i suspect it is because i suggested that we let a restaurant cook for us rather than have dinner at his place - his suggestion - as our first proper date since the speed dating. he insisted and then i made another offering, a compromise between having dinner at his house and dinning at a restaurant, and then he dropped off the radar.

"are you scared of me? don't worry i won't bite anything except the food. i make fine food."

yeah, funny guy, but not when you are insisting a perfect stranger come to your house, your turf, because then it comes off a little Jeffrey Dahmerish.

why does he want to take home court advantage when there are a gazillion neutral places to meet and dine? and more over, why would i put myself in a disadvantage. kinda hard to make an emergency exit in that type of situation.

so last night, to celebrate being blown off i had 3 cloves of pressed garlic, ~raw~ with my soup.

Anon, do you like the colours yellow, green and blue? :p

Sue, I think you were right to err on the side of caution especially as your compromise was declined. If he really wanted to date you and get to know you he should be doing everything to make you happy and put you at ease.

Three cloves of garlic? Expecting vampires or something?!
