when one's roommate is hogging the dry rack ... one must compromise.

okay, so he's not hogging the dry rack. but when he puts his clothes on there and then goes to his girlfriend's apartment for the next 3 days guess who checks the clothes and takes them off the rack when they are dry? no one.

i'm just being bitchy. we needed a backup plan. and now we have one ...

these rods are from a roman shade that was abandoned in the apartment complex. i hadn't thrown them away because i knew eventually i could figure out how to utilize them to my advantage and finally i have. so, on laundry day, if the dry rack is still in my roomy's room, then i can open my closet doors and place two of these rods across the top of the closet doors and then i can hang my clothes to dry from these rods. good for one load.
