There was a time I wanted to know more of you
but now, I know all I need to know.

i'm getting too old to be hurt anymore
however, pissed off is an emotion i'm not in short supply of these days
it would be fair to say
you did piss off my feelings through no fault of your own other than being blind
yes, that's the emotion through which i choose to deal with the disappointment of realizing that it's over
before it even started, it's over.
now i've got to convince this thing inside that keeps hanging onto to hope
