balloon dreams

i just woke up from a 3 hour lazy sunday nap

i dreamed that i bumped into, Neil, one of the neighborhood boys i used to babysit when i was a teenager. Neil was all grown up and married. he proudly showed me his ring and said he'd recommend marriage. i felt like an old maid in my dream.

then, later in the same nap, i dreamed that someone - i don't even know who - but someone loved me and wanted to spend the rest of their life loving just me. i was sleeping on a bench at the beach and that someone came to me and watched me for a little bit while i slept. before he left he put a yellow-orange balloon next to me.
