or as they would say here in korea, chō-kō.
thankfully, some korean words are the same - or almost the same - as the english equivalent. this means that without really learning Korean, one lazy person such as myself can (crudely) get along if one can recognize these few similarities in the two languages. here are some other examples:
a-pa-tee (apartment)
ca-dah (card)
poin-tah (point)
chōpping (shopping)
ma-tah (mart)
boes-sa (bus)
du-ra-i-kul-li-ning (dry cleaning)
ka-seh-tuh (cassette)
koppy (coffee)
koppy (copy)
po-kuh (fork)
ATM (ATM)
keop (cup)
i'm sure there are more examples but i can't think of any others at the moment, besides, this post is supposed to be about how yoga lost.
well i could have easily made it to the 8pm yoga class tonight which i was interested in attending. they have a new teacher for the night yoga and it's a guy. i haven't taken his class yet. i don't like the teaching style of the girl who teaches the morning yoga so i would like to give this guy a go.
but i got these delicious "Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares, Premium Chocolate Assortment" from me mum and ... well, with an assortment, you can't just eat one at a single setting because the other 3 flavors will get sad. :-( So after eating 4 squares (Milk Chocolate with Caramel Filling, Dark Chocolate with White Mint Filling, 60% Cacao Dark Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate with Raspberry Filling) i'm all gassy and well yoga and gas DO NOT MIX, no matter how in tune to one's Chakras one is, hearing a fart during yoga is disturbing on so many levels, especially when the fart is one's own.
ergo, chō-kō beat yoga.

I was in a yoga class once with someone who'd fart during meditation. I could NEVER concentrate when she was near me because I'd start laughing and trying to hold back the giggles. Good thing you stayed home!
