Expensive shoes designed to emulate how the Masai walk and create better posture, improved gait and less pressure on joints.
Although I'd think the Masai don't get lower back pain and IBS because they're not sitting at desks for so many hours each day!

What kind of "Why?" then? Why would anyone spend US$390 on ugly-looking boots?
I'm with Tim, Why would anyone spend $390 on any foot ware ugly or pretty. theres too many fishing poles and rifles to be had for that kind of $$$$
