I'm In It, Deep

i'm in the mood to blog. do you wanna know why? because i'm excited. do you wanna know why? because of love, love, love. let me explain. the tv series called The Office (US version) is back on for season 3 and that means that the Pam-Jim love saga continues and i'm simply infatuated with it.

last season ended with jim professing his love to, and kissing, pam one night. but pam turned him away with the promise that she was going through with her wedding (to another guy). but season 3 started with pam several months post wedding - which never happened because she called it off - and jim working in another Dunder Mifflin office - he initiated his transfer.

pam loves jim, i know it. but i don't know what the hell she's waiting for. i guess she just wants to be sure that jim's a sure thing because she knows that when she falls for him she will with all her heart, body and soul. jim, though dejected at the end of season 2, still thinks about pam - i know he must still have feelings for her even though he was hurt deeply by her rejection.

the whole thing is like an aphrodisiac. i'm insanely drawn to this story and i don't know why. just thinking about it makes me happy and all giddy and giggly inside. maybe because i can see myself in pam's place and i can see myself falling for someone like jim. and because i love the hope and promise and excitement and anticipation when it comes to these two. will they or won't they? will they or won't they? i'm obviously rooting for them to get together (and in fact they do at the end of the UK series but the UK series never stretched to a season 3 as the US series has).

here jim and pam talk to each other for the first time since jim transferred to another office. look how happy they make each other

i am deeply invested in this story and in these characters. i'm pretty sure if they sold these characters as action figures i'd totally buy them. and knowing that makes me laugh. i'm in it, deep.
