we got rain today when we were expecting snow! :-( i would have liked snow. i had plans on staying in this whole weekend regardless. it's been lovely ~ it's felt like a long vacation. i didn't go dancing on Friday night or Saturday night and i didn't go out to the Latin club either. someone started making trouble for me last week - in the form of some borderline hostile text messages - when i told him i wasn't interested in him and that i didn't want to keep in touch with him and so i just didn't want to run into him so soon after the fact. plus i've just wanted to catch up on so many things that have been piling up at home. so i worked a little bit later on Friday night (it's that time of year ~ self evaluations, and since it's all online and in Korean, i was told what questions are asked and what i'd have to enter and then i thought it all out and wrote it in a Word document and Monday Inna, my desk mate, is going to help me enter all of it into the system. i got loads done this weekend especially with posting my Vietnam photos/videos and others that i've wanted to post to flickr for weeks and weeks now, church, hiking with HeeJoo, returned some emails, went through the 6 match.com emails each with 12 potential matches, responded to a direct email from someone on match, did some reading of Middlesex, yoga with Kristi McGee, wrapped presents, wrote another Christmas card, bought something online for the parentals, talked with my sister, shaved, called to find out if the Nutcracker tickets were really all sold out, tried to get my long distance calling service recharged, ate pizza, had lunch with SeonUn and gave her her birthday present, bought 1 skirt and 3 pairs of 96 Nine Six New York stylish long shorts that were on major sale to go with the tights and boots mom sent last winter, vacuumed my room, cleaned and scrubbed the bathtub, bathroom sink and floor, and the commode (and urinal!!!), and did two loads of laundry (still have to fold and put away though ~ tomorrow, Tuesday maybe since no dance class), upgraded uTorrent and eMule, reconciled my NFCU bank statement with Quicken, downloaded some music and a video about Tropical North Queensland Australia, watched Burn After Reading, and cooked for two lunches for later this week (Monday a new employee, a translator, joins on our team so we'll go out for lunch) so i need lunches for just Tues & Wed coz Thursday we're off and Friday it'll be leftovers from the Turkey dinner. is it weird that i have lunches for this next week all planned out. yeah, i think it's weird but i'm not changing cause i'm okay with weird. anyway, i still have a few FB emails from people from my ancient past who've found me and i want to respond to them when i can focus on them (no, not that one Jan, I'm not going to respond to that one i told you about). emails and emails and emails. seems i'm always chasing emails.
things i didn't get to: organize and reduce bookmarks (no good tools out there yet imo for accomplishing this task in the way i think this task should be accomplished) and i've got three posts started about love, work and LASIK experience, i also need to read about Beijing and think about what to pack, i also want to finish reading my current book so that i can start reading one of the books that comes from a pile a books that a friend left here at my house. but, now i'm ready for bed ... i wanted to chat with a friend online but it's a quarter to midnight and if i do, then i'll probably be very sleepy at work tomorrow. next time.
off to get snuggled into my bed and i SERIOUSLY hope i'm NOT awakened again by sex sounds coming from the room below. Five AM on a Sunday is just CRUEL and UNUSUAL punishment! he got the grumpy treatment from me today and i told him exactly why; i get that he hasn't seen his GF in ages and that he's making up for lost time but just have some common courtesy and give consideration to the time of night and the thin walls.
both my roommates have their sig.nif.s visiting and when i'm in the living room or kitchen it's sex sounds from one couple and when i'm in my room it's sex sounds from the other couple.
i never wanted to live with couples. what single person would?
heads will roll if i hear it again tonight.

glad to hear you were so productive this weekend. Jason and I just finished 4 hours of cleaning out the basement! i wanted to go buy a new computer but then thought i would rather use my energies for something more productive. Feels good to be rid of sooooo much more junk!
